Copos in talks with GTC for Ana Tower development

Businessman George Copos, owner of Ana Holding group and ofRapid Bucureşti football team, is negotiating with Globe TradeCenter (GTC) real estate developer a tie-up contract for thedevelopment of a 28-storey office tower close to Crowne Plaza hotelof Bucharest, currently called Ana Tower.


Talks are in an advanced stage, according to ZF information,with Copos seeking a partner with "background" for the project thatmay involve investments of above 100m euros.
GTC is one of the savviest office developers in Bucharest, havingcompleted Europe House, America House and City Gate projects inrecent years, with an 85,000 square metre lettable area.
"We're in talks with several multinationals to forge an alliancefor the building of the 28-storey tower. GTC is one of them, whichI highly appreciate. We will see what will happen," Copos toldZF.
Ana Tower may become the biggest office building in Bucharest, witha 120-m height.
"We're striving to get a land plot for an office building innorthern Bucharest and we have three different possibilities,including a tie-up with Mr. Copos. For the time being, we haven'treached an agreement for any of the possibilities," stated ShimonGalon, GTC CEO.
