Germany-based Drees & Sommer, specialising in project management services for real estate projects, will reach almost 3m euros in turnover this year, up 10% against last year, despite a decline in the number of employees from 53 to 43 since the beginning of the year. Drees & Sommer is one of the leading players on the project management market, next to companies such as Gleeds and Gardiner & Theobald. "Two years ago we had over 60 people, after we recorded a very fast growth and we made compromises in terms of quality, by accepting all offers on the market. Additionally, personnel turnover is very high, at around 50%, over 18 months, between 2006 and 2007, according to our calculations," explains Renate Kramer, managing director of Drees & Sommer Romania.
