Energy Financing Team (EFT), one of the leading traders in Central and Eastern Europe and present on the local market for around two years, will focus on the small consumers segment, after so far focussing on signing contracts with other energy traders. Such a decision was expected from many energy traders, given that halfway through last year the energy market became fully liberalised, which enabled household consumers to choose their energy supplier based on their own criteria. "In 2006 and 2007, EFT Romania primarily focused on the wholesale market, but we also examined the household consumer segment in Romania. Entering this segment is our No. 1 priority at the moment. We are very interested in the 1 MWh - 10 MWh consumer segment, and we intend to build a strong client base on this segment," said Nenad Savic, communication manager at EFT. If this is the case, EFT's offer will be aimed at household clients and small industrial clients this year.
