New TAROM fares, from 71 to 98 euros

TAROM's domestic fares for internal flights will be cut by half starting October 15. The prices of flights and will vary from 71 to 98 euros for roundtrips, said Radu Berceanu, Minister of Transports. With integration into the European Union and the introduction of the "open sky" policy (by which a foreign company will no longer be restricted to operating flights only from or to its country of origin), foreign operators will also handle domestic flights in Romania. As a result, TAROM has revised its pricing policy and intends to introduce new destinations, says the Minister of Transports. The company operates domestic flights between Bucharest-Timisoara, Bucharest-Cluj, Oradea-Baia Mare, Oradea-Satu Mare and Iasi, Sibiu-Targu Mures and Bacau-Suceava. The cheapest roundtrip is to Targu Mures and will cost 71 euros. Bucharest-Cluj will be the most expensive route, with the price of a roundtrip to reach 98 euros.
