Owners of first malls in Bucharest are left without investment manager

Ali Capa, chief investment officer of real estate developerAnchor Grup, will leave the company that owns the first two mallsin Bucharest, Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania, as well as stepdown from his position as general manager of supermarket chainG'Market, controlled by the same company.

The move comes only three months after Tunc Capa, the company'spresident and founder, and father of Ali Capa, announced his exitfrom the Anchor Grup business, by relinquishing his stake inexchange for several plots of land and apartments, and just onemonth after Ibrahim Paksoy, the company's CEO, left thecompany.

"I will indeed leave Anchor Grup after working in the companyfor five years. I made this decision in order to focus more closelyon the family business and to start a series of projects of my own.I will continue my relationship with Anchor Grup as a consultantover the next few months," Ali Capa told ZF.

Each of the three managers that left Anchor Grup had at leastfive years' experience within the company. The management team alsoincludes Radu Tanasescu, operational manager, and Irina Irimie,leasing manager within Anchor. They could not be contacted by thetime this issue was ready for print.
