15.06.2007, 19:48 14

Raal Bistrita, a producer of equipment for the car industry, agriculture and constructions, has posted a 9.5 million-euro turnover for the first quarter of this year, up by approximately 57% on 2006. The company's net profit increased by 150%, from the 140,000 euros registered in the first quarter of 2006, to 318,000 euros in the first three months of this year. In April 2007, Raal saw sales exceeding 3.8 million euros. "Currently, the market of cooling systems is seeing an unprecedented growth, primarily due to the environmental norms, which require changing the engines for almost all equipment and vehicles", the company's general manager, Paul Ilies, told ZF Transilvania. The Bistrita-based company is currently manufacturing cooling systems for vehicles designated for corporations such as JCB, Caterpillar, Atlas Copco, Class, Visteon, John Deere, Komatsu, Kion and Voith.
