20.02.2008, 20:07 9

Bistrita-based Raal, a manufacturer of cooling systems for automotive, agriculture and constructions equipment, forecasts turnover worth around 70 million euros this year, up 75% on 2007. Last year, the company posted overall sales worth over 40 million euros, up around 65% on 2006, and net profit worth around 3 million euros. "The programmes outlined for this year, involve the manufacture of cooling systems for vehicles using fuel cells and hybrid engines, as well as investments in a new cooling systems plant in Prundu Bargaului, Bistrita-Nasaud county; these are just some of the growth drivers for 2008," Paul Ilies, general manager of the company, told ZF Transilvania. He says all the necessary equipment to manufacture cooling systems for use in agriculture and the constructions will soon be in place, which will enable the company to boost productivity to the current average of the European market.
