In the following period, RomTelecom will focus its investments on developing its most profitable business segments, such as data services and on creating and launching other products, which can boost the operator''s revenues, such as providing games or video content through broadband Internet connections. "For RomTelecom, the future means data hosting services, broadband Internet connections and providing content and games," stated Peter Bakker(photo), chief commercial officer of RomTelecom. He added that due to a partnership closed with a "global player from the entertainment industry and with another from the games industry," RomTelecom is to launch its first interactive multimedia services, as well as a new concept addressing gamers, in about a month, which will be available through Clicknet broadband Internet connexions.
