British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin, which is present at this year''s Bucharest International Auto Show (SIAB) for the first time, is planning to sell three cars despite having no official dealer on the Romanian market. At the same time, Automobile Bavaria, the importer for the BMW Group on the domestic market, expects to sign two sales contracts for the Rolls Royce Phantom, though this will not happen until the auto show is over. "We set out to sell three cars at this year''s Auto Show. Another 4 or 5 cars were purchased this year by Romanian citizens living in Europe, especially Monaco," said Heinrich Karner, general manager of Aston Martin Austria, the dealer representing the British brand at SIAB. Aston Martin is not the only luxury brand at this year''s show. It has been joined by the Volkswagen and BMW groups, which are displaying their Lamborghini, Bentley and Rolls Royce, and Maserati brands, respectively. This is Rolls Royce''s first time at the event, with Automobile Bavaria set to open the first official showroom of the brand in Romania this year. ZF
