Iulian Trandafir, who a month ago reverted to the position ofCEO with Farmexpert, ranking second on the domestic pharmaceuticaldistribution market, says he plans moderate growth this year sincea too big advance would also mean a higher exposure to risk, namelyto pharmacies risking insolvency.
"The target for this year is reaching turnover worth above 400meuros, against the 385m-euro level of 2010. Farmexpert has a 14%market share now. We do not target a too high increase as thiswould also mean rising risks," Trandafir told ZF in the firstinterview he had since he took over his new position.
He has a two-year contract with Farmexpert, viewed as classic forthe company and "should things go well, it can be extended". Abouthis coming back at Farmexpert, Trandafir says smiling that it islike "riding a bike. You never forget how to do it".
