After bringing Prefab on the Stock Exchange, Miluţ wants to take it to foreign markets

Prefab Bucureşti (PREH), Romania's biggest ACC producer owned bybusinessman Marian Miluţ, plans to enter the Ukrainian and Serbianmarkets this year, where it says there are projects it canparticipate in. "We want to become a major player on markets inthese areas and we're considering both the European market and themarket neighbouring the EU. We're in talks with major producers ofthat region and with central and local administrations'representatives. With got projects. For the time being, there is noquestion of our producing in Ukraine and Serbia, we'll test themarket with our products both in the energy and water sewageareas," Miluţ stated. He specified equipment and product transferto Serbia could be operated on the Danube as well, while transportto Ukraine would be secured through partners. Prefab has beenoperating on another two foreign markets, Bulgaria and the Republicof Moldova, for five years, and is now trying to expand to offsetthe low domestic demand. The company's stock was yesterday promotedto the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. "Prefab listingon the first BSE tier is a great success, but also a greatobligation to shareholders to offer them the possibility of makingprofit. I believe the company is now visible to investment fundsoutside Romania," Miluţ said.
