The General Assembly of Shareholders of Agras insurance company "in principle" approved the merger by absorption of its kid "sister" from the Omniasig Group - Omniasig Asigurari Agricole (Agricultural Insurance).
At the same time, Agras shareholders decided to increase the share capital of the company up to 57bn lei, by including the positive gap resulted from the reassessment of fixed assets.
"We are trying to speed up the merger, because it is not normal for two kindred companies to overlap," Agras president, Maura Klassek, said.
