Bacau-based Diana Forest, which operates in the wood processing industry, posted 6m euro sales in the first half, almost double as compared with the entire year 2002, after having increased its production capacities. However, high expenses on credit interests and on including the amortisation, made the company lose 6.7m euros. Therefore, Diana Forest logged 222bn ROL (some 6m euros) sales in the first half, up from 85bn ROL (2.7m euros) throughout the entire last year, its half-year report shows. Diana Forest produces particleboard, beech and oak doors, as well as parquetry. ZF
