British-born Michael Lloyd, the man who has assistedbillionaires Gabriel Popoviciu and Dinu Patriciu in their realestate businesses over the last ten years has decided to stopworking with the former owner of the Rompetrol group, leaving hisposition at the helm of Quintet company, as well as his position ofnon-executive manager of the Rutley fund controlled byPatriciu.
Through Quintet, an asset management company that Lloydestablished two years ago, as well as directly, the Brit hasprovided assistance to Dinu Patriciu in acquiring and managingFabian, Deutsche Land and Rutley investment funds lately, on whichPatriciu bet more than 100 million euros despite the ongoingcrisis.
"I will continue my private business in Romania and I willalso focus on new business initiatives, both in Romania and in theUK," Michael Lloyd told ZF.
In the second half of 2008, Lloyd left his position at the helmof the Baneasa project in northern Bucharest, held by GabrielPopoviciu, after an eight-year stint.
