Luxury car dealers have posted ten ads for cars with pricesabove 150,000 euros on the Internet over the past month; they aretrying to sell the cars after the Romanian customers who orderedthem cancelled the purchase for lack of cash. Those refusing to payfor the cars have agreed to lose as much as 60,000 euros, whichaccounts for the 20% of the down payment made to the dealer whenthe order was confirmed. The most expensive new cars currently forsale on the mobile.de website are two Ferraris, a Scaglietti One toOne worth almost 290,000 euros and a 599 GTB Fiorano worth over270,000 euros, followed by a Bentley GTC Speed worth 240,000 euros."They are using every channel to sell the cars. The ads on themobile.de website are rather targeting Romanian clients, as foreignclients are attracted only if the price is very good," says AdrianPascu, brand manager of Bentley, Porsche and Lamborghini withPorsche Romania.
