French tyre producer Michelin could start producing tyres in the medium and high-end range in Romania in the next years. "We will definitely keep the Montana brand, which sees a very high brand-awareness in Romania and has potential for the Eastern European market, but we are also interested in producing in Romania other brands of the group, especially tyres in the medium and premium range," says Luis Fialho Lopes, manager with Michelin Romania. The group is currently producing the Montana tyres in Romania, aimed at the domestic market and exported to other countries in Eastern Europe, as well. ZF
