The current territorial senior partner, Jean Pierre Vigroux, will be promoted to Senior Partner for Bulgaria and the Southeastern European countries (Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and the Srpska Republic).

Vasile Iuga will move up to the territorial senior partner position and will also keep his current position, namely head of the audit and business advisory services.

Iuga is among the few Romanians who managed to climb the corporate ladder in one of the world's largest auditing companies.

"The appointment will become effective as of July 1, 2004," Monica Nistorescu, public relations director at PwC, said.

Jean Pierre Vigroux is one of the most experienced financial auditors on the Romanian market. His specialisation is inbound international assignments and auditing large industrial organisations. Vigroux is one of the best-known personalities in the Romanian business, and he was also elected Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) in 2003.

Iuga joined PwC in 1991 and became partner in 1997. His main assignments include international audits, due diligence and business advisory services in the financial services, telecoms, energy and infrastructure.
