British cable assembly manufacturer, Quadrant Connections, will invest in a production facility in Sibiu, in partnership with the German manufacturer Odu. Company representatives have stated that the Romanian-based plant will allow them to cut cable assembling costs, resulting in an increase in the company's business over the next few years. This is the second production facility that Quadrant Connections has developed in Europe, in partnership with another industrial manufacturer, on a market that allows them to secure lower costs. The company also owns a plant in the Czech Republic, this time in partnership with Evertronic. The city of Sibiu has a long industrial history and is on its way to becoming one of the locations of choice for foreign companies that manufacture products in Romania. This trend will become more and more prominent after the country's integration in the European Union," said Quadrant Connections officials.
