Vitacom Electronics in Cluj-Napoca, an importer and distributor of electronic components, parts and accessories, estimates it will post a turnover worth 14.8 million euros this year, up by over 60% against around 9.3 million euros registered in 2006. "We anticipate an upward trend of financial indicators by the end of the year, with results to exceed last year's growth rate by 60%, due to the expansion of the segment of home appliances, IT components and accessories. Investments in infrastructure, which correlated with the company's development strategy for this year, have had a positive impact on the business conducted by Vitacom Electronics so far," Zoltan Balogh, commercial manager within Vitacom Electronics, told ZF Transilvania. The company expanded its warehouse in Cluj-Napoca by 1,200 square metres and opened a store in Bucharest. This year, the investment and development strategy of the company targeted an improved position on the market of distributors of electronic components. Vitacom's sole shareholder is businessman Vasile Andrei Vita.
