A&D Pharma, a company that comprises the drugstore chain Sensiblu and the drug distributor Mediplus, estimates turnover worth about 440 million euros for 2006, which would account for a 55% growth against 2005. "The two companies making up the A&D Pharma Group posted a consolidated turnover worth 283.7 million euros and a growth of some 50%, which was slightly higher on the retail segment," said Dragos Dinu, chairman of A&D Pharma. The company conducted investments worth 9 million euros in 2005 and budgeted investments worth over 19 million euros for this year. "This year''s investments programme will focus on the organic growth of the two companies in the group. So, as far as Sensiblu is concerned, we will invest in integrating Europharm drugstores into our network, as well as in other such acquisitions. As for Mediplus, it will continue to focus on opening its own warehouses," said Dinu. ZF
