Insurer-reinsurer Asitrans collected 112.7 billion ROL (some 2.8 million euros) in revenues from premiums underwritten in the first six months of the year. Revenues collected from premiums went up 31.8% compared to the corresponding period of last year, whereas the company settled claims worth 29.8 billion ROL, down 39.1% from the first half of 2003. The company, established in 1994, has a capital worth 41.5 billion ROL, with the latest capital increase operated in June 2003. ZF
