Curiero, the local postal and courier services provider, which this year attracted IT firm Asesoft among its shareholders, continues to examine the possibility of selling a stake to a company in the field. "We are interested in selling to a strategic investor, if the price also takes into consideration the potential of a 20% market share. Curiero currently accounts for 12% of the domestic courier market," said Bogdan Carcu, chairman of Curiero. Asesoft entered the company's shareholder structure with a 25% stake, after a transaction worth seven million euros, which increased the company's value to 28 million euros. Other local companies have also joined forces with large players. Cargus was acquired by DHL, Pegasus by Geopost, and Trans Curier Service by UPS. Curiero ended last year with turnover worth 15 million euros, and has budgeted a 70% increase for this year.
