Dragos Anastasiu and his associates have given up a 47% stake in Touring Eurolines, a company with turnover worth over 30 million euros, which operates in international passenger transport, travel and airplane ticket sales. The stake went to the Martin family, which owns Mistral Voyages travel agency. In return, Touring Eurolines received 99% of travel agency Mistral Voyages, which logged turnover worth around 270,000 euros in 2006, according to the latest information available on the Finance Ministry website. Mistral Voyages owns an 80-room hotel in Moeciu resort, which will shortly start operating, as well as a ten-room luxury houseboat in the Danube Delta. Corina Martin, owner of Mistral Voyage, says the decision was made in order to strengthen the position of Eurolines in the travel sector.
