The first Ikea store, located in the Baneasa real estate project in Bucharest, will be completed by the end of this year, according to Conarg, the company which will build the complex. "In December, we will complete construction works for the Ikea store, following investments worth some 10 million euros, conducted by Baneasa Developments," stated Valentin Visoiu, general manager of Conarg, the project''s developer. Baneasa Investments officials have confirmed the information. "The total investment entailed by the Ikea project stands at 17 million euros, with the construction works for the store accounting for 10 million euros," said Michael Lloyd, representative of the investors involved in the Baneasa project. The Ikea store will cover 18,000 square metres and will have a storage space of 8,000 square metres. Ikea offices are also located in the Northern part of the Capital, in the Baneasa Office Building, where the company rented 900 square metres. ZF
