More about Dracula next month

24.01.2003, 00:00 7

News about the exact location of Dracula Park will be released on February 5, following a meeting between Tourism minister Dan Matei Agathon and Judy Clark, head of the International Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, which is now conducting a feasibility study to find the best location for the theme park, the Tourism Ministry said. The ministry feels the articles in the national and international press on the prospective location of the amusement park are pure speculations. "The only ones besides me that are authorised to make statements on this project are the spokesperson and the state secretary. Any information from alleged employees of the Tourism Ministry is insubstantial and in no way the institution's point of view," Tourism minister Dan Matei Agathon said. The minister had recently said, "international and domestic pressures, the vicious attacks and threats" had created "a certain state of mind" in Sighisoara, for which reason he did not believe PricewaterhouseCoopers would include it on the list of possible locations. Agathon added Dracula Park would be dedicated in 2004. ZF
