14.07.2008, 18:43 22

Francisc Peli, Carmen Peli and Cristina Filip as well as another 10 lawyers will all depart Nestor and join a new firm - Peli Filip. Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Peterson (NNDKP), the biggest law firm domestically in terms of revenues (12.6m euros), will lose 3 partners and almost 10 lawyers who decided to set up a new law firm, Peli Filip. This is the biggest departure from the firm of Ion Nestor, viewed as the most influential business lawyer in Romania. The new office, which will be run by Francis Peli, Carmen Peli and Cristina Filip, will include even more lawyers from the domestic office of British firm Linklaters, which ranks second in the world and in November is set to exit the domestic market. The 3 lawyers were in charge of fields of expertise, such as energy and real estate, that had a significant weight in the firm's turnover, which means their departure could alter the rankings.
