Raiffeisen Bank Romania boasts profit

03.02.2003, 00:00 11

This will be the first profitable year for Raiffeisen Bank Romania, which has been reporting losses for the past few years, since the takeover of Banca Agricola (the Agricultural Bank). Moreover, the spending and revenue budget has scheduled net investments worth 20 million euros for 2003, the same as last year. "This will be the first year when the bank reports profit. We expect net profit worth 5 million euros. Moreover, we aim to increase the assets from last year's 675 billion euros to more than one billion euros," Rasvan Radu, (pictured above), the bank's VP told Ziarul Financiar. ZF
