Raiffeisen mutual funds attract 3.8m euros in 2 months

Assets of the two funds managed by Raiffeisen Asset Management increased 80% in the first two months since their launch, reaching 8.5 million euros (30 million RON). Raiffeisen Bank's initial investment in the two funds stood at 4.7 million euros (17.6 million RON). Raiffeisen Prosper equity fund saw a yield of 7.68% two months from its launch, and the other fund, Raiffeisen Benefit, investing mainly in shares, witnessed an increase of 4.35% in its fund unit. The funds managed by Raiffeisen Asset Management are the first on the local market to have invested in shares listed on international capital markets. Raiffeisen Prosper has investments made on the foreign capital markets accounting for 24% of the fund's assets, 40% of the assets being invested in shares from the domestic market, and some 15% in bonds. For the time being, the exposure of the fund on the external markets consists of shares in a series of open-end investment funds, which have investments on emerging markets.
