The biggest ING Pension contribution: 4,400 euros

The biggest contribution paid by an ING client to a mandatory pension fund (2nd pillar) in June was almost 4,400 euros (16,041 RON), according to ING Fond de Pensii data. This means that ING's best-paid client earned 218,000 euros (800,000 RON) in gross sum in April, the month for which the contributions were made, after the client's net salary amounted to 153,000 euros (560,000 RON). This salary is 464 times higher than the average salary in the overall economy in April (of 470 - gross sum) and 444 times more than the average ING client's salary, of 491 euros in gross sum. As for other pension funds, the best-paid BCR client earned 258,700 euros in gross sum in April, Aviva's client - 85,100 euros, OTP's - 45,700 euros, BT Aegon's - 27,450 euros and Omniasig's - 20,000 euros. Contributions to mandatory pension funds account for 2% of the gross salary, and will increase by 0.5% year-on-year, until they reach 6% of the salary.
