Tnuva spends 55m euros on dairy

Tnuva Romania, the local branch of the most important food industry producer in Israel, has announced it expects annual sales of nearly 70 million euros in a few years, following the initiation of production at its dairy factory in Popesti-Leordeni. The company will complete the first part of the 55 million euro investment at the end of 2006 and intends to become a top player on the fresh milk products market. "The first part of our project entails a 44 million euro investment in building a new dairy factory and a farm, and will probably be completed at the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007," stated Yoram Israeli, Tnuva Romania chairman.
