Transilvania Constructii company posted 30% higher turnover for the first three months of this year against the similar period of last year, almost 2m euros. Full-year estimates by its officials point to turnover worth above 10.5m euros, 20% higher than in 2004. a??The constructions market is rising and we have seen a constant evolution and strengthened our position on the market over recent years,a?? Ionel Bidian, the companya??s general manager, told ZF Transilvania. He announced that by yearend the company would invest 2m euros to build an exhibition complex over an area of 5,300 square metres. a??Works will start in July and end in December. The centre will comprise parking lots and office and exhibition spaces to which customers on the Transilvania Constructii industrial platform will have priority access,a?? said Bidian. In 2003, the company based in Cluj started building up halls and warehouses for its logistic park. In 2004, it invested 3m euros in the construction of halls and warehouses, with the total area the company can put to use amounting to 135,000 square metres.
