Tudor sells Biofarm to relatives

Businessman Dumitru Tudor, one of the main individual investors on the domestic capital market, sold his over 9% stake in drug producer Biofarm Bucharest through two deals worth approximately 19 million RON (5 million euros) conducted on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in the last trading day of last year. Tudor Dumitru was the principal individual shareholder of Biofarm, and had even managed to get a seat in the company''s Board of Directors last autumn. He now owns an insignificant number of shares. The buyers were Bogdan Andrei Tudor and Elena Rada Constantinescu, who acted in concert and were reported as owning 9.03%. Bogdan Andrei Tudor is related to Dumitru Tudor, as the latter said. Dumitru Tudor did not care to provide further details. The two deals were closed at 0.545 RON/share, nearly 10% more than the price of the shares that day. Tudor said he would invest the money he got for Biofarm on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. ZF
