No tenants for Patriciu's Piaţa Romană office building yet

Businessman Dinu Patriciu, who by taking over Fabian real estateinvestment fund became a significant owner on Bucharest's officemarket, has not found any tenants for the building he is erectingin Piaţa Romană area of Bucharest, whose completion has beendelayed by around three months, to the first quarter of nextyear.


Patriciu started erecting an office building on a 600-sqm plotFabian bought in 2007 for 4.6m euros, namely 7,500 euros/squaremetre, one of the most expensive plots of land sold inBucharest.
"The project has made significant progress since last summer andworks are going on, but there are indeed small delays. The new termwas set for the first quarter of next year," stated therepresentatives of Dinu Patriciu Global Services, under which thebillionaire manages his real estate portfolio.
The building will also have two underground levels with a 36-spotcar park, and the lettable office area will amount to 2,300 squaremetres.
