Businessman Dinu Patriciu has appointed British-born RossMacDiarmid to run office buildings in the portfolio of Fabianinvestment fund, a fund he acquired at the beginning of this year.MacDiarmid also holds an executive position with Quintet AssetManagement, led by Michael Lloyd, former head of the Baneasamega-project in Northern Bucharest. "Due to various resourcingneeds, Quintet was asked to provide some administrative services toFabian companies. Ross MacDiarmid holds these responsibilities inparallel with the Quintet related activities," Michael Lloyd,chairman of Quintet Asset Management, told ZF. Ross MacDiarmid, 50,is Chief Investment Officer of Quintet. His responsibilities withinthe Fabian fund include management of companies that hold theCascade Office Building and the Baneasa Business Center inBucharest in their portfolio. Fabian will also take over the CubicCenter building in Pipera (Northern Bucharest), for which no leasecontract has been signed yet.
