Banca tiriac's Board of Directors has called the extraordinary general meeting of the bank to endorse the increase of the share capital by 340.68bn ROL (nearly $10.5 million). The bank's capital is worth 664bn ROL at the moment.
The capital increase scheduled is derived from the assets reassessment -108.180bn ROL and from the cash raised by issuing 2.5 million new shares worth 232.5bn ROL, which accounts for a 93,000 ROL/share price, the same as the face value. "The capital increase is directly related to possible investments in the near future. I cannot say anything more for now," the bank's chairman, Anthony van der Heijden, said. ZF
