Aurora Brasov brewery, which was this year taken over by the SABMiller giant, announced it would modify the former company's organisational structure and reduce its personnel by 30%, by outsourcing some services and auxiliary activities. "Amid a highly competitive domestic market, it is necessary to reorganise Aurora Brasov so as to secure the proper functioning of the company's activities in the medium and long term," stated Octavian Buzoianu, chairman of the Aurora SA board. In the wake of some service and auxiliary activity outsourcing, part of the employees could be transferred to the new operations, according to the company's representatives. Last year, Aurora Brasov was one of the top performers on the Romanian beer market, posting 26.8% higher sales, reaching 664,000 hectolitres and a 5.2% market share. The plant's production capacity amounts to 680,000 hectolitres. ZF
