Sinteza Group, which comprises the Sinteza and Chimprod Oradea-based chemical companies, has estimated its turnover for 2005 will increase by 20%, with sales of the group set to reach some 7 million euros. "While giving up making and selling products that were barely viable in 2004 we sought to broaden our product and service ranges, which we expect to generate a 20% increase in turnover for 2005," said Sorin Pasula, Sinteza's general manager. The turnover of the group was 5.7 million euros (230bn ROL) in 2004, which is close to the level set in the budget for last year, added Pasula, while Sinteza, the group's pesticide maker, saw its turnover increase by around 10% compared with 2003. Sinteza had sales of around 3 million euros in 2003, according to data from the Finance Ministry website. ZF
